| I think that my friend has anorexia. I read about that illness and now I realized that she has all symptoms. I know that anorexia is very serious mental illnesses but can somebody tell me what are some of the long-term affects of anorexia? I want to help her somehow. |

| Yes, anorexia is very dangerous. Sometimes it can be fatal and it may have numerous complications. Some of them are anemia, severe problems with kidneys, abnormal heart rhythms and heart failure, bone loss and, of course, gastrointestinal problems. People with anorexia also may have other mental disorders. Because of all of that, it’s very important to start to treat it on time. |
