Hello! Regarding the fact that I am diabetic for few years, I am afraid that I can get diabetic nephropathy. I have heard that diabetic nephropathy is pretty usual at diabetics. So, I want to know what symptoms of early stages of diabetic nephropathy are. I want to prevent diabetic nephropathy (if that is possible at all, off course).

Hello! Diabetic nephropathy is diabetes complication which is caused by uncontrolled high blood sugar. There are no obvious symptoms in early stages of diabetic nephropathy. In the beginning it is sign for worry small amount of proteins in urine. After some time, start symptoms: increasing of blood pressure, cholesterol level and triglyceride level, swilling. To prevent diabetic nephropathy you need to control blood sugar closest to normal as it possible.
