what are the chances i could end up pregnant?

i just started my third pack of pills and i havent had any problems taking them everyday. i had my period on dec 7 and then on the 15-16 had unprotected sex. i forgot to take one inactive pill and one active pill what are the chances that i could end up pregnant. i checked my ovulation chart and it says that i would have been ovulating at that time but i keep reading that u stop ovulating when ur on the pill. on the other hand i keep reading these horror stories about people on the pill getting pregnant. can someone please help me to sort this out.

The only way to be absolutely sure is to get tested if your period doesn't arrive.

You stop ovulating on the pills, but if you miss two pills in a row you could ovulate.

No protection is 100% effective.

You don't always stop ovulating...My sister got pregnant twice while taking the pill without missing any pills as did a couple of my friends. I even had a friend that got pregnant on the shot so like the previous person said it isn't 100% there are times that BC fails. If your period is late then test.

i just thought i would let u guys know that i dont think im pregnant i spotted for like 6 days from dec 25-dec 30. early for period but you know how it is when pills are missed. been feeling really down and nauseus and very weepy i think i need to talk to ob about different pills or something because this is driving me nuts

Something like NUVA RING would be awesome.

You would not worry about forgetting pills, and it is such a low dose that side effects are minimal.
