Hi, good people. A good friend of mine has been diagnosed a severe aneurysm. I think his aneurysm is fatal. He is administrated into the hospital. I would like to know what the chances are that surgery repairs this kind of aneurysm. I would really appreciate all your replies. Bye, folks!

Hi, there. Aneurysms are very dangerous. Surgery that repairs aneurysms brings some risks as well. There are some newer, non-surgical techniques in repairing unruptured aneurysms. It is called endovascular procedure. Perhaps, your friend should try with this. An artificial tube is being inserted into the problematic blood vessel under anesthesia.
