Hi! Please, can somebody explain something to me! I've just heard that my cousin have hydronephrosis. I know that hydronephrosis is kind of kidney disorder. I started to worry a lot but I don't know do I really need to. Maybe I'm panicing too much. Tell me, what are the consequences of hydronephrosis? Thanks!

You probably know that hydronephrosis often causes kidney infection. But you don't need to panic. If your cousin started to treat hydronephrosis on time, everything will be ok. Only if hydronephrosis is not treated promptly, it can damage a kidney severely or cause kidney failure. It can be acute or chronic and their medical treatments are different.
