| I have been diagnosed with autoimmune disease, lupus. Lately, I take high doses of dexamethasone, by some schematic, but what is frightening me are extremely high dosage. I am afraid injure internal organs by those big figures. Doctor said that this has to ve done like this, but I am still worried, so I would like to know what are the effects of heavy doses of dexamethasone? |

| I also had to take high doses of dexamethasone every day during my therapy. My doctor said that this is the best way of taking this medication. The best effect is created like that and the risk of side effects showing is the lowest. As for those side effects, they include bacterial infections, loss of proteins, possibility of ulcers etc. |
