My mother has been having serious problems with high temperature, ever since she had a hernia surgery. The operation went well and she is all right, generally, but that high temperature comes from time to time. Her doctor prescribed her with Dantrolene, medicament that should help her with this problem. What are the side effects of Dantrolene?

You should know that Dantrolene is primarily used as muscle relaxants when it comes to conditions such as nerve disorders (stroke, multiple sclerosis). It might be used to deal with high temperature, especially before the operation or after, to prevent the new episodes. So I think it will help her. As for side effects, there are diarrhea and dizziness, if anything else happens, please take her to a doctor.
