Hello, folks. A good friend of mine gave birth to a baby several days ago. However, it seems that there was a certain birth trauma. I am wondering what possible consequences can be of this birth trauma. I would really appreciate if anyone could answer me this. Thanks in advance. Bye!

Hello. Consequences of birth trauma can be immediate and severe. On the other hand, they can be hidden and need years to manifest. Some of the most serious problems are: injuries of spinal cord and brain stem, bleeding and swelling of the brain, breathing problems, even a sudden infant death. Other problems can appear much later. Some of them are: learning disabilities, headaches, certain palsies, immune problems, vision and hearing problems, etc. I hope your friend's baby won't have any consequences. Please, let me know how it goes. I hope I've helped. Bye!
