what can cause the right testical to swell and become hard and cause you to have pain?

Can someone tell me what this could be or have they ever experienced anything like this before.

Whenever there is a swelling, especially a hard one, it should be checked. It is impossible to say without seeing and touching but it is certain that you should make an appointment at the urologist.

The swellings in scrotum could be cysts, tumors or hernia. When bowels protrude through week abdominal wall, they can go as far as scrotum and make them swell. Some hernias may cause bowel obstructions if not treated on time. Hernias can be easily fixed in minor procedures.

When a tumor is early detected, it may be cured and it may not spread. Scrotal swelling can’t be called normal and I would seek immediate screening.

year's ago i was rideing my skidoo whith minimal cloths on when i got the boy's alittle to cold. I ended up getting a infection in my right testical causeing it to swell to the size of a miny football. Ilayed in the hospital for three days because of it. They gave me antibiotics to clear it up since then the right testical has all ways been bigger and more sensitive.Take care of them they are fragile as i found out after just having a vasectomy a week ago. Good luck and don't be afraid too talk to your family doctor.
