Well, it all depends on when you had your gallbladder removed. With or without gallbladder, bile is being produced and released into the intestines. However, when bile is released directly from the liver (without the gallbladder), it pours constantly but in less amount than usually, so a patient may have problems digesting fat foods at the beginning (or even later in some cases).
Because there is less bile in the intestine fat foods could make intestines take a lot of water, that food will be hard to digest which could result in gas and constipation. Some people experience diarrhea because of the constant bile flow into the intestines.
So, if you could eat foods that you have been eating when you were avoiding the attacks-that would be great. Diet full of fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grain products is good for general health.
The point is that most people have no problems after having their gallbladder removed and go back to their previous life styles. However, if the problems occur, you should turn to healthy diet.
