I don't know if macrobiotic diet could help with cancer in fact I wouldn't recommend macrobiotic diet to someone who is severely seek for macrobiotic diet is low in calories and sometimes this diet may lead to starvation. But on the other hand if the good plan of macrobiotic diet is developed on right bases than the healthy life approach is easy to achieve. Macrobiotic diet is in fact sort of a philosophy it is concentrated on balancing the opposite energies in our organism and is focused on fibers – whole grains, beans and both regular and sea vegetables and of course fruit but not tropical fruit for it is reach in simple sugar. And simple sugar is not allowed in macrobiotic diet for it gives a hard time to the pancreas that needs to produce sugar immediately and that is how pancreas is getting ill faster. Instead macrobiotic diet is about providing energy on the so called slow acting sugar and you could find those complex carbohydrates in vegetables and whole grains.

Most diets don't work. If you eat what God created on the earth, whole fruits, vegetables, grains, beans, etc. and avoid any product that is boxed, cooked, baked, pre-made....you will have much energy and greater health. Our food today is based on the USDA guidelines...they are not science majors Confused
