Hi there, I am 26 years old female and I would like to hear an answer for my question. What is ayurveda? I know that this is practice which is used in Indian subcontinent. That is about all I know, so every information would be most welcome. I would like to thank you on your assistance in advance.

Hello, you are right it is a practice from Indian subcontinent. When translated it means Science for a long life. This practice is even used in western countries. The treatment can be dangerous because of some side effects from medicines of herbal and mineral origin. So, we can call this practice a tradition that has been nurtured in India for a very long time. That is what I know about this one.
