My brother is 13 years old and he is, unfortunately, easy target for allergies. From often allergies, he got allergic rhinitis, which is a big problem for him. He likes nature and parks, but because of the pollen allergies and plants that stimulate his allergic reaction he must not go there. On the last medical check, doctor recommended fexofenadine. What is this drug?

Fexofenadine is a drug that is knows as Allegra. It is an anti histamine medication, its basic effect is blocking histamine receptors but does not react with histamine that is already in the blood flow. This medication prevents the symptoms of allergic rhinitis (sneezing, watery eyes). With taking this drug, all these signs are avoided and that would really make his life much easier.
