Hello!
Interstitial Cystitis is one of many urinary diseases. This is an inflammation or infection of the urinary bladder. If it is caused by germs, it's called a urinary tract infection (also known as UTI). Women very easily develop UTIs, because all their sexual and urinary organs are very much hidden inside. Besides urinary organ with women is shorter (only 4 inches) and straight then with men (man have curbed urinary tract) that is why women easily develop UTI. UTIs can be painful and annoying, for example it itches when peeing, sometimes even hurts, usually also scratches. Otherwise they are not very dangerous. They can be treated, but can also constantly keep on appearing. However, they can become a serious health problem if they spread to infect kidney. Cystitis must be treated! (Usually they are treated with antibacterial, diuretic, and anti-inflammatory herbs)
