I had a tonsillectomy 4days ago color of thrat started out white with few grey areas now the grey color is spreading and my thrat is more painful two months ago they took out one tonsil and it was abcessed does the grey color mean that my thrat is abcessed again

The question is how old are you? If you are of an old age, having white stuff form is normal. doctor say that those white stuff is the scab formation. It is a sign that you are healing. It may turn grey based on the type of food you eat.

But check with your doctor again to be sure.
