what is the Loratadine prescribed for?

My doctor definitively has problem with communication. I have gone to him because I have noticed that I have some kind of allergic reaction. Also I have hay fever. He had examined me prescribed me a medicine called Loratadine and sent me home without explanation. He say that he has too little time and to many patients to explain. So tell me why is Loratadine prescribed for?

This doctor of yours could lose his job because of that kind of behavior. He had prescribed you with good medicine but he has to develop relation with patients. Loratadine is used to temporarily relieve symptoms of hay fever caused by allergies. It doesnt cure allergy but only relieve symptoms. So you need to go to the doctor and ask for some medicine to treat allergy itself.
