what is the average age to safley concieve

I am 34yrs of age - My partner whom i love greatly is 45yrs, we have dicussed having children in which we both want but are looking to have within the next couple of years..... my question is - what complications /if any could there be...i know the older my better half gets the harder it may become to concieve...however on the babies part what are the chances of a healthy baby...
Ps we both eat extremely healthy and are in no where over wieght/ we look after ourselfs/and never over indulge in anything.

any advise would be great..

Fetal problems such as Down syndrome do increase with age, usually women over 40 are at a higher risk than their younger counterparts.

There are screening tests during pregnancy that will give you a diagnosis, and older women are encouraged to have testing.
