what is the standard procedure in angina pectoris treatment?

Hi! I want to ask somebody about angina pectoris. My father went to doctor yesterday and doctor said that my dad has angina pectoris and that he need to take some medication. I’m worried now. So can somebody tell me, please, what is the standard procedure in angina pectoris treatment? Thanks!

Angina pectoris is usually treated with drugs that affect the blood supply to the heart muscle or the heart's demand for oxygen. Nitroglycerin is the drug most often used. Also beta blockers can slow heart rate, decrease blood pressure and reduce the oxygen demand of the heart. Sometimes an aspirin of 100 mg per day can be helpful.
