Our vaginas have naturally occuring YEAST inside of them, as well as helpful bacteria which keep our vaginal flora healthy =)
Yeast infections happen when there is an overgrowth of the yeast, which is not a good thing, it is ITCHY, a cottage cheese like discharge, and you need a treatment to cure.
Causes: MANY things can contribute to the causes...Wearing wet bathing suits for long periods of time, using harsh soaps/douching, wearing thing underwear which do not breathe, and wearing super tight fitting jeans. |
