when do I start the pill?

I was on tri-cyclen lo for approx 2 years, but forget to take it a lot. My periods started coming in the middle of the pill pack so I stopped the pill. I haven't had a period in almost 3 months and I want to restart the pill. When can I start it if I'm not getting my period at all?

You may start the pill ANY DAY.

When you start the pill any day other than your period, you must use back-up for 7 full days.
