I can’t believe that you are thinking about something called slim quick when suffering from low thyroid. Most of these diets don’t do anything to slightly over-weight people not to mention what they wouldn’t do to hypo patients. All these pills may do is get rid of fluids. That kind of weight loss works for 5 days and you are back to where you were. I suppose this wouldn’t work for you at all.

Have you talked to your doctor when first diagnosed with hypo about the most important nutritional facts?
To get metabolic enzymes that run all of our organs and cells you need to eat fresh fruits and vegetables. When treating hypothyroid one needs to have living organic food. You may as well eat cooked vegetables, but fresh is a must.

If you eat animal foods, do it only once a day and again make sure they are organic.
Don’t eat high protein foods because they can only worse your constipation if you suffer from it and won’t do anything for your low thyroid.

Are you started any food regime yet? Did you manage to get your thyroid levels under control?
