Recently, I saw that my scrotum is covered with white lumps. This scares me a lot. I am afraid that I have testicular cancer. Please tell me what should I do? I don’t want to lose my ball.
I know what you should do. You should go to your doctor to be examined and to know for sure what your condition is. This sounds very much like simple sebaceous cysts of the scrotum. They are like infected hair follicles which occasionally can become infected or inflamed. They are completely harmless and never turn into anything serious and also, they are not infectious. However, if you develop painful spots or lumps, or notice a lump on your testicles you need to go to your doctor immediately. I will tell you more about signs and symptoms of testicular cancer. Most lumps in the scrotum are not testicular cancer. Pulling sensation or feeling of unusual heaviness in the scrotum, a dull ache in the groin or lower abdomen, pain or discomfort in the testicle or scrotum, a sudden collection of fluid in the scrotum are some of the signs of the cancer.
