What kind of lumps? Are they big, cyst-like lumps or ordinary, pimple-size lumps?
You didn’t mention if you were sexually active, so I should know if I should look into any sexually transmitted disease.
I think these are just blocked hair follicles with accumulation of sebum, this oily substance produced by the sweat glands under the skin! When the pored are blocked, this oily substance cannot go out to lubricate and protect the skin but gets accumulated under and this appears as pimples on the surface of the skin.
Sometimes they can be squeezed although they are not advised to. If they are squeezed, they may get infected and cause more trouble.
Unfortunately, the only way to know for sure is have it checked. You don’t have to show it to your parents just tell them you need to see an urologist. Done deal. |
