hi i have what i think is a problem. when ever i use the bathroom i have white discharge in my underwear and sometimes if i just sit there some starts coming out and its stringy and thick. It doesnt smell at all and im not having burning, and seeming if i having had sex in 4 months it couldnt be an std. im not close to my period so i really dont know. Im am on birth control could this be what is causing it? help needed

How long have you been experiencing this problem? It is normal for the amount of vaginal discharge to change during our menstrual cycle.
During ovulation we (women) get to have extra discharge that is odorless but pretty stringy. Also, we may experience extra discharge during common cold.
When I was reading about birth control pills earlier, I read that progesterone can cause white discharge but from other sources I learned that BC pills don’t cause extra white discharge. I decided not to use them, so I can’t tell you from my experience.

Extra discharge may indicate an infection but does usually have a different smell, or different colour. Hey, why not have yourself examined to be on the safe side?
It is nothing to be scared about, most of these infections are treatable.
