why are some diabetes sufferers thin and some fat?

If you are sick man and you have nick name "fatty" it is not pleasant to live at all. I am a diabetic for five years, and was fat fore whole my life. Somehow I get used to be called "fatty", but ever since I got seek it started to disturbed me. While I was in hospital, I met some people. Most of them were fit, but with diabetes as well. Why are some diabetes sufferers thin and some fat?

Those people you met, probably do not have the same type of diabetes like you. There are two main types of diabetes, type 1 and type 2. First of them is in people younger than the age of 30. Those people are usually thin. The other type occurs in people who were fat for some time in their life and are older then 30. Most of those people remain fat.
