why is my leg hurting

okay my leg has been hurting for about 3 weeks now and has got a lot worst. it starts buring when i strech my leg up to the shy it feels like a bunch of needles poking at the inside of my keg and it starts to burn on the inside.when i just like walk and strech anyother way it doesn't hurt only when i lay on back strech my leg up to the sky it hurts.
