I had problems with acid reflux, but I did everything to get that in order and I can say that I am much better now. Anyway, because of constant belching and pain that I had before, I still feel soreness in my esophagus. Will my esophagus be sore even when the acid has calmed down completely?

As you probably know esophagus is a tube that carries food from your mouth to your stomach.Anyway the lining of esophagus is not equipped to handle this caustic substance so it becomes inflamed. When it is not treated (GERD) it may cause permanent damage to your esophagus. I hope you reacted on time and that your esophagus want be sore when acid calm down completely.
