My daughter started treatment with Acuttane about two months ago. She is 14. She was already on medication for cyst acne but she doesn’t respond on them. I noticed pigmentation change on her face. This worries me a lot. Will use of Accutane induce pigmentation change? How can we prevent this? You know how teenager are sensitive on their look.

I had allergic reaction on Acuttane after six months of use. Accutane is a systematic skin drug, many changes may occur to the structure of the skin during treatment. One of the Accutane’s side effects includes changes in skin pigmentation. You should be careful with Accutane there are other serious side effects that can affect internal organs or cause serious medical condition.
