Hi guys i hope this makes sense to you.....
After having a failed medical abortion i had a D & C ( that was on the weds) on the saturday the bleeding stopped and i had sex with hubby using the withdrawal method. (I fell pregnant 1st time with condom. ) Hubby never came near my vagina or ejacaculated for 5-10 mins after intercourse had stopped. I then started to bleed again on the following weds and assumed it was my period so started taking the pill. the bleeding seemed to be darker and not as long as usual and now i have this brown discharge especially after i go to the loo could this just be my uterus etc fixing itself or should i be worried that i could be pregnant again??
Thanks L

HI THERE..After a d&c many women will often have spotting and bleeding for many weeks.

WITHDRAWAL is not very effective, I do work in an abortion office and I see women who use withdrawal...

Can you use pills? IF you cannot use hormones, like me, have you considered an IUD? They are hormone free, and no side effects.

I came off the pill for a 2 year break ( i kept feeling sick when i took it )and have started taking it again after i had the D & C i asked to go back on it. When my period came back it was quite thick and dark. is this normal?? The brown spotting seems to have stopped now thankfully, but i do still have a slight period like pain especially in the morning when i wake up??

I know the wthdrawal method isnt a good method but i guess we got lost in the moment if that makes sense!? I'm just worried i may of got pregnant again and really need to know what the chances are in it happening again soon after a D & C

Thanks L x
