Hello, I had strong headaches several months ago, I guess because of some problems at work. Those headaches made me almost unable to work and I have been taking benzodiazepines in order to get well. I too those without prescription and now I would like to stop taking those but I always feel very sick after several days. Are there withdrawal seizures from this med?

I can tell you that benzodiazepines could cause physical and mental addiction, especially after long period of use. I strongly recommend you to visit a doctor, because the situation you are in is far from good. You might be addicted and in that case, maybe you should try to get of the med gradually, not suddenly.

whatever you do, don't stop cold turkey if you have been taking them for 2 weeks or more. What dosage did you take? I ran out of mine for 5 days and experienced horrible side effects such as numbness, lost my sense of reality, couldn't function normally, feel like you're in a haze. I've been on them for 13 years but they say that Xanax can really cause some bad side effects if you're trying to come off of them. It has to be a very slow process. Trust me, I know.
