woke up with right testicle aching hasn't gone away

Hi, i woke up this morning with a dull ache in my right testicle. Its the same feeling as when you get hit in the balls but its only on the right side and its been about 6 hours since i woke up. It doesnt constantly hurt but anytime i touch it or move and it touches my leg it is very very sensitive. I haven't had a groin injury or anything, its not noticably swollen, no off-color, i wasn't engaged in any sexual activity recently either. what could be wrong? is this something akin to blue balls? i did try ejaculation but nothing changed, it still hurt just as much if not more afterwards. If anyone has any advice or similiar problems please reply. thnks.

hey man i know your same pain.. i went through the same pain.. i woke up 1 morning and my testicle was aching like it did when my friend would ball tap me this continued at random times about 3 more for about 4 months then 1 day it came on and it was just something i thought would go away but it didnt and it only got worse and my testicle swelled up i went to ER right away and i had a torsion of the testicle which means your ball twists up and if u dont get it checked out you can lose your testicle so my advise to you is to see a doctor ASAP
