hi everyone, sorry this post is fairly long!
i was on the pill for 5 months and stopped taking it when i got to the inactive tablets of the 5th cycle. i used to miss a pill now and then by accident, and use a condom for the next 7 days or if i remembered less than 12 hours after i was supposed to take it, id take that pill when i remembered and take the next one at the regular time.
i purposely skipped my last cycle (due late feb), and had a light period for that whole month from when that period was due until my next period came on the 17th of march (i only missed one pill during that month). the 17th was the first day of my last period (a day after i stopped taking the pill).
i had unprotected sex about 2 days after that period finished and i have also had sex a number of times since then starting without a condom and then putting one on before my boyfriend ejaculates. (i am aware this is nowhere near a solid method of birth control-it doesn't concern me as i would be happy if i fell pregnant). i'm just curious about the possibility of pregnancy.
also when it is best to take a pregnancy test in order to get an accurate reading? i've been told by some it's the day your period is due, and by others that it's a week after the day your period is due.
i am not worried, i am just curious as to whether anyone has any experience or ideas they could share. the only real symptoms i've noticed are a more frequent need to urinate, and swollen breasts, but i'm aware these could just be my mind playing tricks on me. any insight would help a lot!
