MY daughter in law had absess on one of her teeth ,the dentist said if the absess went down that she could have a cyst ,my question is ,is this cancer?
They are going to have to send her to oral surgery will there be any chance of this being meligment.

The oral surgeon told us that type of cyst is rarely cancerous athough he did do a biop. The cyst had to be removed though a 5 hour surgery becuse facial cyst tend to wrap around nerves
