i had an abortion 5 days ago and, as many women who post on this site, was getting anxious and worried about my symptoms. I have now had a phone consultation with a nurse and have been reassured they are normal.
It is sad that, this subject is still such a taboo that,as a society we don't feel free to discuss it openly. It is obvious from my own experience and the posts on this site, that women are confused and scared due to the lack of information out there.
I do not condone using abortion as a contraceptive but,there are circumstances where it is only/safest option. It is our right as women to have the option and we should not feel scared and confused because society does not condone abortion.
I am thankful for having found this site and be able to read on other women's experience.
