I've had a very small lump behind my right ear for years. Never moved, never caused me problems. I've been fighting a yeast infection for about a week now. (failed to mention this to doc) I work up with a very tender ear, and as I felt it realized over night it had grown twice the size and was sore. The coloring was normal skin tone. The doctor I saw today said it was a cyst. Told me that it moves alright, and that when he drained it, he hardly got anything out of it. It is still fairly large and tender. I am wondering if this is a swollen lymph node, do I need to surgically remove it, and OR is it a cause of my yeast infection, or birth control pill. ( was on tricyclen for years, tried allese, and marvalon now.) Thank you for any and all imput Smile
