| My kid is 5 years old. He is very energetic and healthy child, and slowly getting close to age when he should get engaged in some physical activity. So, naturally I'm doing a little research about youth sport. Is youth sport that important in child's life? What is the best choice of exercises for our children? |

| Choosing a sport for little children is not an easy task. First of all, you should consider his age and body growth. You must know that bone structure, muscle mass, they all have different increasing tempo. Also, joints, which are important in many sports, have their own time of maximum growing. When you consider all these precautions, it might seem unnecessary for a child to start participating in youth sport. Well, it's quite the opposite. Light exercises, running, jumping, that's all very important for a kid's body to develop properly. Not to mention value of socialization, since he'll be in company of other children of his age. |
