Bilateral knee replacements, doctor wants me to take suboxone and oxycodone at the same time

Taken 1-2 films of suboxone for pain for years. Stopped a few days before surgery per sub dr. Knee Dr giving me Oxy for pain but it's not working. He wants me to take suboxone at same time. Is this really ok? Side effects ? And will it kill the pain? Thx

Doctors forgot to discontinue suboxone for open heart surgery on a 79 year old male

My husband had open heart surgery to fix valves and unclog an artery. He has been on suboxone . They did not stop the suboxone and he came out of surgery in severe pain how serious can this be and did he feel the surgery as it was performed? Can he still have full recovery?

When is it safe to take Codeine after drinking?

To clarify, I'm asking how many hours after drinking should I wait to take Codeine without a substantial risk of any amplification of the effects? I'm well aware of the dangers of mixing CNS depressants so I would hope to avoid them. Thank you for any answers.
