i have been on effexor for about a year and a bit and went from 78mg to 150mg and thought it was too much for me so i split them in half w a doc knowing so but i have noticed my weight gain has increased A TON like 30-40 pounds in almost a year... and im trying to come off them and find im a little...

I started Effexor XR during my troubled marriage in 2004 and have been on it since simply to avoid the severe withdrawal symptoms. Of the symptoms listed on their site, I get ALL but the anorexia when trying to wean myself from it. The longest I have been able to go without taking it is 3 doses....

I was prescibed two lots of ssri's to be taken at the same time. When i next saw a doctor she stopped this treatment as she was very concerned. Is it dangerous to take two lots of ssri's at the same time and if so how? As i'm seroiusly thinking of making a complaint due to the doctors negligence...

I have been off the lexapro now for almost 4 weeks. Should I start to lose the weight I have gained once the medicine is cleared out of my system or is it going to be more difficult than that to lose the weight? Will I now have weight problems or will they go away if I stay of the medicine?
