TOPOROL

I HAVE BEEN ON TOPOROL XL FOR 10 YEARS FOR HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE. IT IS NO LONGER EFFECTIVE SO MY DOCTOR IS WEANING ME OFF OF IT AND I AM TAKING TWO OTHER DRUGS INSTEAD, THEY SEEM TO BE WORKING AND I AM ALMOST FINISHED WITH THE WITHDRAWL OF TOPOROL. Dosages for Hydrochlorot

My doctor put me on 50 mg's of Hydrochlorot, one tablet daily and said this was a low dosages. Talking with other poeple with higher blood pressure than mine, are on lower dosages of the same drug. Does 50 mg's seem correct. My bp was somewhat border line 145/95, the high end.

Atacand vs candesae 8 mg OR candelong 8mg

I was in US and was using Atacand 8mg for the last 2 years. I moved back to India and here Atacand is unavailable. Insetad there is candesae 8 mg OR candelong 8mg available. Are there any issues in replacing Atacand with candesae 8 mg OR candelong 8mg?
