Bumps on nipples

My nipple just recently started hurting and it seems as if one of those bumps are swelling? its been hurting for a couple days now. It also hurts while i sleep, and just on a daily basis. I did make an appt, but i would like to have an idea of what it might be?

Pain 3 Months Later

I had my annual mammogram back in November 2013. I was called back a week later and had my left breast done again. This time I was told that this would be more painful and it was. I now have pain on this side and it is not getting any better 3 months later.

Hello, if you have a mammogram and it shows a lump, then you have a ultrasound and it shows the same lump but clearer, then you go to a surgeon and he wants a biopsy because it might be cancer. If they suspect cancer do they get on it right away? or do they wait like 2 or 3 weels and nothing yet?...
