Tummy Tuck Re-do

Please can you advise on how long you have to wait to have a tummy tuck redone. I had one in May, ut have been told it was too conservative and needs to be repeated. Am a bit desperate as my upper tummy is bigger than the lower with quite a big spare tyre? Are 2nd t tucks successful? Thank you
