delay in periods for 9 days after unprotected intercourse

hi doc, my gf has a cyst in her ovary and thyroid problm due to which her period cycle is of 40 days. we had unprotected sex 4-5 days before her due date after that she took ipill within 18 hours its been 9 days and her period is delayed. is there any chance of pregnancy? what should we do?
