Minocycline and birth control

I am a male and my girlfriend is taking birth control pills. I was recently prescribed minocycline (an antibiotic) at what I believe to be a high doseage of two capsules/day. Would taking such a high dose of antibiotics affect the birth control pills that she is taking? Thanks for looking.
