So I was 2 weeks late

Ok so my periods were supposed to come last month on the 22nd and they didn't. So I was 2 weeks late. Then they come after that 2 weeks. Does this mean I was preg and miscarried at a earlier stage or is my cycle just late? *worried* pls help!
