Reddish mucus discharge

i am having reddish mucus discharge, with light spotting for last 1 month. It stayed for 8-10 days. We had sex 5/6 days ago. We are trying for baby. Also i have irregular cycle from earlier. Pregnancy test came negative yesterday. Could i still be pregnant?
