Is my son's nose broken?

My four year old smashed his face into the side of his bunkbed. Since then he's had dried bloody "gunk" filling his nose. He screams if I try to clean it and looks a little swollen to me. Its been at least three days with no improvement. How do I know if it is broken?

I have numerous injuries at work, could this be sleep deprivation caused?
