brown spotting a month after miscarriage is it normal?!?!

I had a miscarriage aug 19 and i did bleed 10 days straight after the miscarriage then it completely stopped then a week later i had brown spotting for a day and now i keep spotting atleast twice a week. Is that normal?

Its been  more than 3 weeks now after my miscarriage ( D & C ).i can still feel a little pain on my abdomen.  I had my miscarriage last 2012 but I never felt this way that's why Im  wondering why I can feel a little pain until now.
