odd feeling in the back of my head, on the right side. It happens when my head twists

I occasionally feel an odd feeling in the back of my head above my neck, on the right side. It happens usually when my head jerks in a direction/ twists, or just when I am moving my head. It is almost like a weird flushing feeling that isn't painful but feels really weird.
