Edometrial ablation due to heavy period

Hi In November 2008 I had an ablation due heavy periods. I got my first period on 6-01-09. The bleeding has lightened off by 50% but the duration of my period went for 6-7 days. I thought the bleeding would last only for 2 days. Can I expect this in the upcoming months? regards dianna
