why is my cerix closed, for several years, age now 58

[my cervix is closed. i am 58 years old now years ago my gyn opended it in his office. now any new doctor i go to tell me my cervix is closed, yet they can not tell me to worry or not or why why is it closed. of course i don't want children anymore, i would just like to know is the cancer prone?
